The Department of Global Public Health is an interdisciplinary institution aimed at deepening knowledge about how the health of populations can be improved at local, national, and global levels.
Many of the department's researchers serve as scientific advisors to authorities and other decision-makers at regional, national, and international levels. The department is responsible for three international master's programs, and the researchers actively participate in teaching at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
The department offers three advanced level educational programs in public health science, global health, and health interventions in disasters, as well as several independent and elective courses, including those in sustainable development, human rights, and health interventions in disasters. We also provide extensive training at the doctoral level.
